5 Best Non-Traditional Bridal Dresses for Spring

Not every bride this season will want to wear a traditional white dress, and with the increase in non-traditional weddings, dresses can be anything from a pretty day dress to a prom dress. Solid colors with plenty of ruching dominates these lovely wedding dresses.
Look for alternative ideas in accessories to go with these dresses, some of which are mentioned below. Following are five of the best non-traditional wedding dresses for women who plan on getting married in the spring of the next year:
Lavender is a perfect spring color this year and the soft folds in this wedding dress by Tadashi Shoji will make any bride feel elegant. Made of chiffon, this dress has a ruched silhouette with cascading folds on the left side of the open skirt, beaded flower detail at the waistline, and a straight neckline. Instead of pearl jewelry as with most wedding dresses, go for clear crystal bracelets and earrings.

A soft muted color may be the answer to the bride wanting something totally different in a non-traditional wedding dress. Lanvin's cutaway dress has a ruched halter neckline and waist has a Grecian feel to it, perfect for a simple garden wedding. The color is mentioned as beige but there is a definite pink hue in this lovely dress.

Ralph Lauren knows how to make simple but beautiful dresses for women.
This cornflower-bluev-neck dress is floor-length, sleeveless, and requires minimal accessories for your wedding day. The fabric is of polyester and elastane, with an elastic waistline. In place of the eather belt, wear a pretty metallic silver or rhinestone belt. For this blue dress, wear a choker-length necklace of pearls and matching stud earrings.

Here is definitely a non-traditional bridal dress that will look fabulous with a bouquet of roses. This maxi dress by Buffalo Jeans is made of viscose, has a 28" skirt length that will show just a hint of the knee, and pulls over the head quite easily so that the hair and makeup is not messed up. A charming bow at the neckline and smocked empire waistline gives it a light, airy feel. Best of all, the pale orange color truly makes this dress non-traditional in style.

The fifth dress on the list is a beautiful yellow GoldenGoddess gown by Cache. This chiffon dress is floor length, strapless, has a front slit up the skirt and an intricate lacy design on the bodice. Lace is standard for any wedding dress but this design has a unique waxed finish to it. The dress is polyester and has a ruched waistline. For jewelry, wear a combination of pearl and crystal.
